Allowing camera and microphone

The first time you match, your browser asks for camera and microphone access — say yes and you are face to face. Said no earlier by accident? Open your browser’s site settings for monkeyapp.cam, flip both permissions back on, and reload the page. Without permission there is no video, and that choice always belongs to you; the privacy policy covers what the access does and does not touch.

Skipping, and being skipped

Leaving a chat takes one tap and works at any moment in the call. Nobody keeps score — skip ten times in a row if that is what it takes to find the right conversation. Getting skipped yourself is the format, not a verdict: the queue runs deep, and a new face appears in seconds.

Coins, and the line where free stops

The opening matches ride free, with no card requested and no sign-up wall in the way. Longer sessions may spend coins — each price appears on the button and waits for your confirmation before a single charge. The MonkeyApp Free page lays out exactly where free ends and coins begin.

Reporting someone

A report button sits on every call screen. Tapping it ends the match and sends the session context to human moderators, who decide what happens next. Unsure whether something crossed the line? Report it anyway — that judgment is their job, and each report is what keeps the queue worth joining.

Blocking someone

Block a person and they can never be paired with you again. The move is instant and invisible — no notification reaches them — and there is no limit on how often you use it. Use block together with report: blocking ends your problem, reporting keeps it from becoming someone else’s.

An app or an account — do you need either?

Neither one. The whole product runs in the browser you already have, on phones and computers alike, and a first match asks for no account. The MonkeyApp app page explains the browser setup and the optional home-screen step. Still stuck after all that? Contact us and someone will take it from there.
