What cookies do here

A cookie is a small text file your browser stores so a website can tell one session from another. MonkeyApp puts cookies to three uses and no more: keeping your guest session intact while you match, remembering a handful of preferences, and counting page visits without identifying anyone. Nothing else.

The cookies MonkeyApp sets

Necessary cookies are the load-bearing kind — they carry your guest session into each match, and disabling them stops the service from working entirely. Preference cookies save small choices so you are not asked the same question twice. Analytics cookies tally visits in aggregate only: they show which pages get read, never who read them.

Cookies from partners

Buying coins happens through an external payment processor, which may set cookies of its own to run checkout and block fraud. Those fall under the processor’s own policy, and the card details they protect never reach MonkeyApp.

Saying no, or starting fresh

Every modern browser can block or delete cookies from its privacy settings. Blocking the necessary ones breaks matching and sign-in completely; blocking the others merely forgets a few preferences. Deleting cookies also wipes your guest session — which, once in a while, is exactly what you wanted.

Changes and questions

If the cookie setup ever changes, this page changes with it — the current version always lives here. The wider data story sits in the privacy policy; anything still unclear goes to [email protected] via the contact page.
